Electrical Site Engineer Role

  • Oversee the identification, diversion, installation and integration of electrical systems within construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with civil engineering plans and specifications by checking and verifying designs and implementing them into electrical systems.
  • Manage electrical contractors to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards during construction.
  • Implement and enforce ROI safety regulations related to electrical work on site to ensure safety compliance.
  • Address and resolve any electrical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process through problem-solving.
  • Conduct compliance inspections and documentation checks to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with other engineers, clients, utility DNO and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Conduct initial site surveys and set up electrical infrastructure for the project.
  • Direct liaison with network operators in ROI to arrange diversion, disconnection and new connections.
  • Review and interpret electrical and civil engineering drawings to understand and implement them.
  • Assist in the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Track the progress of electrical installations and report on any deviations from the project plan.

  • Ability to manage timelines, resources and teams effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Ability to identify and resolve electrical and technical issues on site.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design, installation, and quality control.
