Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Security Manager to join our team at Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, including experience with CCTV systems, access control, and intrusion detection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site direction and guidance to contract security officers to ensure proper execution of security policies and procedures.
  • Support the investigation of security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day security operations, including monitoring access control and alarm systems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of operational process paths within the data center to identify security exposures.
  • Monitor compliance with company security policies and respond to any security issues noted.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' experience reviewing complex data sets and developing metrics from same.
  • Minimum 4 years operational experience using CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a direct supervisory/management role with large contract guard force teams (50+ officers).
  • Formal certifications such as Certified Protection Officer (CPO) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred.
