Funds Ratings Director Role

Position Title: Funds Ratings Director

  • Lead the issuance rating process, evaluating key factors such as capital structure, legal protection, collateral quality, cash flow dynamics, and manager's experience.
  • Interact with issuers, conducting due diligence meetings to assess their investment process and risk management skills.

We are seeking an experienced director to join our growing funds ratings team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fund investment and credit strategies.

About this role:

  1. Evaluate key factors in new issuance rating processes.
  2. Conduct due diligence meetings with issuers.
  3. Prepare rating memos and new issuance reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields.
  • Eight (8) or more years of work experience in fund finance, investing, or structured finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel to build and analyze financial models.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
