We are seeking enthusiastic professionals to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, assisting with independent living skills and integration into the community.

About the Role

• Assist individuals with daily tasks and activities to promote independence and well-being.
• Support individuals with communication needs to facilitate effective interaction and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and services.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of individual progress and outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
• 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and adherence to National Standard policies.
• Understanding of person-centred care and planning principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
