Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monitoring and reporting of risks and controls within the finance team
  • Develop and implement financial and operational controls in line with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and contribute to control enhancements
  • Prepare regulatory returns and financial reporting compliance reviews
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors
  • Maintain policies related to governance, risk, and compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to regulatory and compliance standards
  • Work with finance, actuarial, risk, and IT teams to enhance systems and processes
  • Design and implement training programs for finance staff
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the Ayvens Group and Societe Generale Group as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience working with risk and control frameworks within a regulated environment
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment within the insurance industry
  • Attention to detail with a desire to continually improve
  • Self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user with familiarity of reporting and visualisation tools
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Team player that interacts well with both team members and other stakeholders
