Production Operator Role Description:

">Job Description

This role involves working as a Production Operator in a Life Sciences Multinational company, overseeing the operation of Device Manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent quality and yield as per procedure.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate manufacturing equipment while ensuring safe working practices and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and GMP compliance.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance, modify specific machine parameters, and troubleshoot issues with machinery to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor other operators to achieve proficiency in their roles and develop a skilled workforce.
  • Material Handling: Perform material handling tasks, including storage and disposal of recyclable waste, adhering to environmental and health and safety regulations.
  • Support Line Opening and Closing: Support line opening and closing procedures using computerized equipment and machinery as per procedure.
  • LSPS Implementation: Implement LSPS (Life Science Production System) and follow its 4 pillars to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality and Inspection: Qualify new production lines, inspect membrane and devices at various process steps, and maintain high standards of quality and inspection.
">Requirements:
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent education standard.
  • Ability to learn multiple processes and provide mentoring to other operators.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP and Safety regulations.
  • Problem-solving ability and task prioritization.
  • Good I.T. skills, particularly with MES, SAP, and LIMs.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
  • Follow and understand procedures.
