Logistics Management Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our logistics team as a Logistics Manager. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for delivering excellent results.

About the Role:

This position involves overseeing the daily operations of our regional distribution centre, ensuring that stock is received, stored, packed, and transported efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, managing key performance indicators, and engaging with various IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives in receiving, storing, packing, and transporting stock according to highest standards
  • Deliver a performance-oriented work environment, motivating employees to achieve their best
  • Participate in operational activities, demonstrating strong leadership skills through leading by example
  • Manage and develop key performance indicators, driving business success
  • Engage with multiple IT systems, forming the basis of key logistics processes within our regional distribution centres
  • Complete regular quality control checks and product rotation according to company guidelines
  • Coordinate on-the-job training for all warehouse operatives and other trainees, developing employees to work proactively
