Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities within their assigned section, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Ensure that all construction activities are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Team Coordination: Manage subcontractors, trades, and site staff, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project plans.
  • Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations, safety protocols, and company quality standards.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce health & safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and report updates to senior management.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve on-site challenges quickly and efficiently to maintain productivity and minimize delays.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role on commercial or large-scale residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and workstreams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
  • Valid Safe Pass and relevant site safety certifications.
