Cyber Governance Manager

A key role has opened up with TN Ireland, a renowned food and nutrition company in Kilkenny. The position of IT Risk and Compliance Manager requires a highly skilled individual to ensure the adoption of IT Risk Management and Information Security Governance strategies across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain the IT Strategic Risk Process and IT Risk Register.
- Perform thorough risk assessments and audits, both internally and with external third-party providers, to identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation controls.
- Examine potential control breaches and create corrective actions and mitigating controls.
- Work closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure compliance with organisational standards.
- Collaborate with the team to address information security alerts and incidents.
- Oversee the development of compliance-related training programmes and a cyber safety culture.
- Assist staff and other departments with compliance-related inquiries.
- Evaluate and reflect organisational requirements in Information Security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Establish a robust Cyber Security response and recovery plan, covering People, Process & Technology, which is regularly tested and updated.
- Coordinate the engagement with Internal Audit for specific IT audits and Management Action Plans.
- Compile performance reports on compliance activities, risk management processes, scheduled audits, and completion of recommendations for management.
- Stay informed about relevant standards, policies, procedures, laws, and regulations related to IT governance and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or related field.
- CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certification.
- Sound understanding of IT compliance frameworks, including PCI-DSS, etc.
- Experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
