Platform Risk Investigator

About the Position:
We are seeking an Investigations Specialist to support our platform integrity operations through investigations, trend analysis, and risk management.
- Develop subject matter expertise in Platform Integrity Operations
- Conduct thorough investigations of high-volume, complex user and reservation activity for potential risks
- Advise users on platform safety and responsible usage
- Analyse trends and identify product vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve tools and policies
- Ensure meticulous documentation and confidentiality in all investigations
- Provide feedback to enhance internal risk models and detection systems
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or Trust and Safety
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in time-sensitive situations
- Objectivity and confidentiality in sensitive investigations
- Availability to work a regular schedule of 40 hours/week
- Proficiency in internet research; familiarity with SQL, JSON, or similar is a plus
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus (not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations to mitigate risks and ensure platform integrity
- Develop and implement strategies to improve user experience and platform safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement
