About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech Therapist to join a dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and experience working with children and young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with Health and Social care professionals to provide routine mental health assessments and speech therapy. You will also be responsible for communicating intake assessments to CAMHS teams, documenting assessment, referral contacts and summaries in accordance with discipline and professional standards, and collaborating with young people and parents/carers, team and other agencies in treatment planning.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified Speech Therapist with a qualification approved by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU
  • Three years post-qualification clinical experience for senior grade
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver assessments in an effective and resourceful manner
