Healthcare Support Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to provide high-quality personal care to residents in our nursing home.

This role involves delivering exceptional support to enhance the quality of life for all residents. You will work collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and nurturing environment that feels like home.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personal care to residents, prioritizing their dignity and well-being.
  • Motivate and support care assistants during assigned shifts.
  • Assist new residents in settling into their new surroundings, ensuring they feel welcome and secure.
  • Organize daily work plans with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, toileting, dining, social activities, and companionship.
Requirements:
  • QQI Level 5 in healthcare (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years' experience in elder care.
  • OR Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare-related Degree.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong supervisory and motivational skills.
