**Job Title:** Sales Representative for Scientific Equipment

**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales representative to manage key accounts and develop new business opportunities across South Ireland. You will be responsible for selling scientific and laboratory equipment into various sectors, including life sciences, chemicals, biopharma, food and beverage, and academic research.

As a sales representative, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will receive full product training and ongoing support to ensure your success in this role.

You will typically spend 3 days on the road and 2 days working from home, with a combination of office-based onboarding and hybrid working in your first few months.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

A PhD, MSc or BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, or a related discipline is strongly preferred. Mechanical engineering graduates may also be considered. Previous field sales experience is a plus, but not essential - this role is also open to scientists or researchers looking to move into a commercial sales role. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical products clearly to both technical and non-technical users is required.

You must be confident, self-motivated, and well-organised, with a full clean driving licence.
