Production Painter Opportunity

Bring products to life with flawless, durable finishes.

As a Production Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and spraying coatings, and ensuring every job meets strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation: Remove rust & old coatings; file, sand & smooth surfaces for perfect adhesion.
  • Masking: Protect non-paint areas with precision masking and coverings.
  • Colour Management: Mix, match & fine-tune paints; choose the optimal nozzle for each job.
  • Craftsmanship: Coat machines, components and those tricky spots plus hand-brush where needed.
  • Quality Control: Check finished coats against BS EN 1090 standards; catch and correct any blemishes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean guns, nozzles & workspace; suit up in PPE and keep the area safe.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1+ year in spray painting or coating (more experience = higher pay band).
  • Skills: Steady hands, eagle-eye attention to detail, and strong colour-matching know-how.
  • Nice-to-Haves: CSCS card, a valid driving licence, any extra coating/crating quals.
