Job Overview

We are seeking a Delivery Driver to provide an excellent home shopping experience to our customers. This role involves delivering groceries and other essentials to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have a full driving licence, be able to load and check the van for roadworthiness, understand the delivery schedule and route, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers by name and serving them with a smile.
  • Loading the van where required and checking the van for roadworthiness.
  • Understanding the delivery schedule and route and navigating through various locations.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Driving safely and responsibly, courteous to all road users.
  • Taking care of customers' deliveries as if they were your own.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a full driving licence, manual or automatic, for at least 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.

Additionally, you should be a safe and courteous driver, personable with a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills, willing to take initiative and use common sense under pressure.

Disqualification from driving within the last 10 years will disqualify an applicant.
