The Hypervisor Software Engineer will design, develop, and integrate firmware features, diagnostics, and testing capabilities for QCT boot platforms. This role requires collaboration with software, hardware, ASIC, integration, architecture, and emulation teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop firmware features, diagnostics, and testing capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Focus on firmware design, development, integration, testing, and release. Verify and debug firmware and drivers with Emulation and HW teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IS, CS, or related field, with 4+ years of experience, OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, OR PhD with 2+ years of experience. 4+ years of programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in C, understanding of computer architecture, OS, and kernels, especially Linux. Experience with ARM architecture, hypervisors, virtualization, device drivers, and hardware interfacing. Knowledge of secure coding, debugging tools (GDB, Lauterbach Trace32), assembly, real-time OS, and system libraries. Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and Linux environments. Strong communication, test automation, open-source contributions, and independent design skills.
