This opportunity involves processing transactions, managing relationships with suppliers and site staff, and resolving discrepancies.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software, preferably Sage 50, and possess excellent Excel and IT skills.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing purchase ledger transactions through purchase order processing and migration to Sage.
  • Liaising with site staff and suppliers to ensure accurate goods and pricing information.
  • Raising and resolving queries with suppliers regarding discrepancies.
  • Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations as part of month-end close.
  • Distributing payment lists to relevant stakeholders.
  • Providing support to the wider finance team with payroll processing, sales ledger, and credit control.
