Systems Infrastructure Technician

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Our team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers' data while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.
This role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation, as well as maintaining one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the highest level of safety standards and foster a culture of excellence.
- Operate and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Transformers.
- Troubleshoot events within agreed service level agreements.
- Conduct daily operational checks of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/logging (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
