About the Position

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of genomics and computational biology, driving innovation and advancing knowledge in this field. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinicians, ensuring seamless data transfer, analysis, and reporting to treating physicians.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for processing, analysis, and visualisation of DNA and RNA sequencing data.
  • Work closely with clinical teams, researchers, and PRISM clinical genomics scientists to align data analysis approaches with clinical and research objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with INAB-accredited workflows for clinical genomics reporting.
  • PhD in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology.
  • Demonstrated use of programming or statistical computing languages.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently as an effective team member.
