Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Electrician to undertake electrical control system installation, commissioning, and testing across the water and wastewater sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industrial sector, preferably in the water and wastewater sector. Key responsibilities include electrical design and supervision work on Water and Wastewater pumping and treatment installations with instrumentation and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical control system installation
  • Electrical control systems commissioning & testing
  • Electrical design and supervision work on Water and Wastewater pumping and treatment installations with instrumentation and controls
  • Understanding of PLC based automation & SCADA Systems
  • Electrical systems fault finding and rectification
Required Skills & Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship work within Water or Wastewater treatment industry or contracting, pumps, instrumentation, automation, and SCADA is essential. Additionally, good electrical control systems knowledge and electrical fault finding skills are required.

  • RECI certified Electrician with 5 years' post-apprenticeship work experience
  • Full EU/Irish driving licence
