About the Role:

">

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to spearhead our Captive Insurance strategy, driving growth, innovation, and compliance across our Controllership team.

">

This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing the accounting process for our Captive Insurance, ensuring enterprise-wide value alignment through our GPO model, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

">

The successful candidate will oversee the development of accounting processes and policies in collaboration with the SOX team, manage the audit of the Captive, and facilitate periodic and annual filings and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Captive Operations: Design and implement processes to monitor and control captive operations, including the Quarterly Bordereau process.">
  • Pricing and Policy Development: Work with the Benefits team to set captive insurance policies, including pricing.">
  • Actuarial Valuation: Collaborate with the Actuarial team to value estimated expenses for policies covered by captives.">
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage audits of the Captive, periodic filings, and annual reporting requirements.">
  • Solvency and Capital Requirements: Monitor entity solvency, minimum capital requirements, and compliance with industry norms.">
  • Board Reporting: Support Board of Directors reporting requirements.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • 10+ Years of Accounting Experience: Minimum 10 years of related accounting operations and Internal/External Audit experience with a global company.">
  • Finance Degree: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Accounting or Finance or a related finance field degree.">
  • Captive Insurance Expertise: Experience working with a Captive Insurance process and Insurance Specific accounting including loss reserves, actuarial valuation, and reinsurance.">
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills across all levels.">
  • Critical Thinking: Proven critical thinking capability.">
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills and experience using data analytics tools.">
