Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Professional

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) professional to provide expert advice and support across the business.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering HSEQ initiatives and will be responsible for advising and monitoring compliance on all legislative regulations, accreditation standards and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HSEQ advice and support to management and staff
  • Investigate incidents and develop action plans to prevent future occurrences
  • Develop and implement localised HSEQ initiatives
  • Support team members in their roles and responsibilities
  • Visit locations to complete audits and reports
  • Attend regional meetings to drive HSEQ standards and best practice
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate qualification or equivalent. They will also have quality auditing skills, awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and a background in the hire industry, logistics, warehousing or construction.

Strong influencing skills, good analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels are essential for this role.
