Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to provide technical support for automation issues in process and packaging areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer day-to-day assistance for any automation problems in process and packaging areas
  • Complete weekly PM tasks on equipment as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
  • Conduct equipment and system backups when necessary
  • Support quality event investigations for Automation-related issues
  • Liaise with vendors for system maintenance
  • Maintain accurate documentation of Automation systems
  • Detect PLC programming faults
  • Participate in projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Possess a Level 6 or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
  • Hold at least 3 years of experience in an Automation Technician role within the medical device industry
  • Have working knowledge of Siemens and Schneider PLCs
