Job Description:

  • You must be legally authorized to work in Ireland. We are not currently able to offer visa sponsorship or assistance.
  • Glanmore Foods supplies award-winning healthy food to over 400 schools and 50,000 meals daily. All products are produced and manufactured in our state-of-the-art, custom-built food manufacturing plant.
  • We are recruiting for a fixed-term contract Catering Assistant position to join our team in the Kiltealy area for 2-3 hours per day, 5 days a week, during school term time.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Goods Inwards: Work closely with management to ensure delivery received is correct.
  • Service Responsibility: Ensure products are ready for service, including HACCP requirements.
  • Ensure all students receive hot meals within specified timing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders involved.
  • Responsible Environmental Sustainability: Ensure all waste is collected and areas left clean, disposing of waste responsibly in bins provided.
  • Ensure a clean and clear work area at all times.

About You:

  • Previous catering experience is desired.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and team working skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with others.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Auditing skills desirable.
