About the Role

This critical role involves managing the activities of TSMS personnel supporting externally manufactured Small Molecules. The successful candidate will be responsible for balancing coaching a technical staff, prioritization, and staffing for routine production support activities, as well as implementing technical projects, transfers, commercialization, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cGMPs, applicable global regulatory manufacturing guidance, and corporate/industry standards for validation. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including site, network, commercialization, and multiple global suppliers to deliver on technical objectives, specific product business plans, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading technical teams and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing technical projects, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborating with suppliers, regulators, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
  • Defining strategic direction and providing oversight for technical agendas to improve process control, yield, and/or productivity.
  • Ensuring adequate oversight and technical excellence for investigations and complaints.
