As a Senior Health and Safety Consultant with Alpine Recruitment Group, you will be responsible for delivering expert HSE advice and support to site-based personnel and others. Reporting to the HSE Manager, your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues, subcontractor personnel, and other third parties.
  • Accurately and timely reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and assisting with investigations in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Conducting site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required, ensuring that management personnel implement appropriate action plans.
  • Regularly reviewing corrective actions arising from incidents, inspections, and audits.

You will also ensure the implementation and compliance of HSE policies and procedures, assist with the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives, and communicate HSE lessons learnt and other initiatives effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, experience working with main contractors (building and/or civil) in Ireland or the UK, and excellent initiative and problem-solving skills.
