Our organisation is seeking an experienced and skilled nurse manager to lead our nursing home management team in Cork city. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care and quality of life for our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 6 years of post-graduate experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the care of older persons. Recent management experience and a post-registration qualification in dementia care are highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided by our nursing home
  • Collaborating with other members of the management team to achieve our organisational goals
