Job Title: Experienced Accountant
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely year-end financial statements and reports for senior review
- Reconcile key accounts, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets registers
- Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software with precision and consistency
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and performance reports
- Ensure all financial documentation meets compliance standards and internal deadlines
- Support the year-end closing process, including reconciliations and final journal entries
- Part-qualified accountant working towards ACA or ACCA designation
- Minimum of two years' experience working in a professional accounting practice
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
