About the Job

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, analysing and managing the implementation of facade systems for various projects. They will work closely with architects, structural engineers and project managers to ensure that facade solutions meet technical and aesthetic standards while also ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facade System Design: The candidate will design and develop facade systems in collaboration with the wider project team.
  2. Technical Input: They will provide technical input to ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations and client requirements.
  3. Structural Analysis: The candidate will perform structural analysis of facade components and materials.
  4. Sourcing and Implementation: They will coordinate with suppliers, contractors and manufacturers to source and implement facade solutions.
  5. Site Visits and Inspections: The candidate will conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of facade installations.
  6. Documentation Management: They will manage facade design documentation and specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  7. Energy Efficiency: The candidate will ensure that facade systems contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in facade design or engineering.
  3. Strong understanding of materials science, building physics and structural engineering principles as they apply to facade systems.
  4. Proficiency in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant tools.
  5. Familiarity with building regulations and standards, particularly in relation to facade systems.
  6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.
