Job Title: Refrigeration Shift Technician

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Shift Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Shift Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintenance, repair, and commissioning of all types of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including air handling units, chillers, kitchen extract canopies, fire dampers, and controls.">
  • Ensuring all customer equipment is in perfect working order, efficient, and effective.">
  • Travel within the Leinster region to collect parts and perform site visits.">
  • Installation and servicing of HVAC equipment, mainly data centers, on an international scale.">
  • Collaboration with colleagues and management as necessary.">
  • Escalation of risk items to direct report.">
  • Ensure that all customer facilities and services are made available within the requirements of the contract specification and ensure assets are operating effectively.">
  • Liaison with specialists and suppliers in relation to industry and manufacturing requirements.">
  • Continuous professional development.">

Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Service HVAC Technician.">
  • Experience working on large commercial projects.">
  • Proven experience with servicing HVAC equipment.">
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, diagnostic, and ability to think on feet and meticulous attention to detail.">
  • Self-contained and able to work alone on some assignments.">
  • Good documentation practice.">
  • Excellent communication both verbally and written, including influencing and problem-solving skills.">
  • Strong leadership and people management skills and ability to communicate at all levels, including senior stakeholders.">
  • Working knowledge of VSDs and conventional motor starter controls.">
  • Understanding of BMS systems and other control systems.">
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.">
  • Electrical and mechanical building service experience required.">
  • Professional certificates desirable.">
  • Familiarity with PC-based tools (Word, Excel, etc.).">
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written.">
  • Strong customer focus with good interpersonal skills.">
  • Able to prioritize duties and work under pressure.">
  • Fault finding and problem-solving techniques.">
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, self-motivated, and professional.">
  • Will to provide rotating on-call cover.">
