VIRGINIA LIBRARY ASSN is committed to providing excellent research and learning services to its students and faculty. We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Support Librarian and Digital Content Developer to join our team.
**Job Summary**
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering online and in-person reference assistance, developing and coordinating online and in-person library instruction at all campus locations, creating and maintaining instructional materials, digital learning objects, and webpages to promote library services and resources.
**Key Qualifications**
- Experience in conducting library instruction or teaching in an academic environment
- Experience providing information services in an academic, public, or corporate library
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
- Strong understanding of information literacy and its application in academic settings
**Responsibilities**
- Deliver high-quality reference assistance to students and faculty
- Develop and coordinate engaging library instruction sessions
- Create and maintain online guides, tutorials, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote library services and resources
