Compliance Director

About the Role:

The Compliance Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm stays ahead of regulatory changes and maintains the highest standards of compliance. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior professional to lead our compliance efforts and make a significant impact on the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Management: Oversee the development and implementation of compliance processes, procedures, and policies that align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks through proactive monitoring and reporting.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with partners to ensure technically compliant audit opinions and assessments of the effectiveness of the compliance program.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to equip staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet compliance requirements.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to prevent non-compliance and promote a culture of ethics.
Requirements:
  • Credential Requirements: Must hold CAI (ACA), ACCA, or CPA qualification.
  • Industry Experience: Proven track record of working in a professional services setting with experience in creating and implementing compliance processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership experience with people management and training responsibilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of corporate governance, financial services, and accountancy practices.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay abreast of regulatory changes and emerging trends.
