Job Role Overview:

Family-owned businesses have a strong presence in Ireland and the UK, employing over 2500 people across both countries. They design and manufacture bespoke windows and doors.

We are expanding our Dublin team and looking for two Service Engineers: one to cover North Dublin and one to cover South Dublin.

This role is suitable for someone with carpentry experience, proficient in IT systems, and excellent organisational and planning skills. A full driver's licence is essential due to insurance regulations, and applicants must be 23 or over.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travelling to customer sites to replace hinges, gears, handles, and glazing units.
  • Repairing any damage caused to windows and doors during installation before handover to the customer/builder.
  • Scheduling calls and call-outs, logged at head office and passed to the engineer to plan their schedule.

Requirements:

  • Carpenter qualification/experience would be highly beneficial.
  • IT proficiency, previous experience using tools such as a tablet.
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills.
  • Full clean driver's licence.
