A Medical Receptionist / Care Navigator is required to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our centre.

Job Type: Temporary, 30 hours

Hourly rate: £12.60 per hour

Hours: The working hours for this position are between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm. Additionally, you will be required to work one late night per week.

This role involves working both on reception and over the phone, as well as assisting with various tasks in the back of the medical centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients at the reception desk.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment system.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Provide general information to patients and address their inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with basic office software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
