Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and support the provision of a high-quality, person-centered service to adults with intellectual disability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a diploma or degree in occupational therapy from a recognized third-level institution and be registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU.
  • Have at least 3 years satisfactory post-qualification experience, with experience in the disability sector an advantage.
  • Commitment and dedication to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disability and autism.
  • Flexibility and ability to respond to changing needs and situations.
  • Full clean driver's license and access to own vehicle.
  • A person-centered approach to the provision of supports, including an understanding of the individual needs and abilities of each person.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good listening skills.
  • Previous experience working in an intellectual disability service.

 

Requirements:

  • A copy of the full job description is available upon request.
  • Salary is paid in line with the Senior Occupational Therapist HSE Consolidated payscale. Point on scale will be based on experience and qualifications.
  • All job offers are subject to two successful references, ongoing Garda Vetting, relevant qualifications, a satisfactory pre-employment medical, and completion of mandatory training both online and onsite.
