Job Title: Strategic Planner
A leading consultancy in Ireland, renowned for its expertise in sustainable infrastructure and environmental planning, is seeking a skilled Senior Town Planner.
This exciting opportunity involves working on complex projects across various sectors, playing a key role in planning application management, strategic advice, and guiding the consenting process.
As a senior town planner, you will have opportunities to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) for high-profile projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and submitting planning applications, reports, feasibility studies, masterplans, and planning strategies
- Advising clients and stakeholders on planning strategy, legislation, and policy
- Leading or contributing to multidisciplinary project teams
- Managing project timelines and delivering high-quality planning documentation
- Engaging with clients from both private and public sectors
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Degree and/or master's in town planning or a related discipline
- A minimum of eight years' professional experience in town planning
- Chartered membership of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) or Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
- Strong knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation
- Proven experience delivering complex planning and environmental projects
