Lead Oncology Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Oncology Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

  • Must be registered in the General Division of the NMBI register and hold a current NMBI PIN.
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience in an acute care setting, with at least 2 years in an oncology specialty.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical competence, patient care, and leadership abilities.

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to patient care and service delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage effectively under pressure, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff within the oncology department.
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines, protocols, and policies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a management role or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal management training program or equivalent.
