Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring timely completion, optimal productivity, and exceptional workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all on-site construction activities, providing technical expertise and resolving issues as required
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
  • Liaise with the project manager, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth progress of the construction project
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and assurance checks to ensure work meets the required standards
  • Monitor and optimize material usage, equipment, and resources on site to minimize wastage
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the site team and subcontractors as needed
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, work plans, and method statements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in residential construction
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with effective site team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaison with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required
