Landscaping Specialist

The Gardener will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining plant health, including mulching, edging, and weeding gardens. They will also prune and trim trees and bushes, deal with pest problems, and keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter.
Main Duties- Monitoring Plant Health: The Gardener will regularly inspect plants to ensure they are healthy and thriving. This includes monitoring for signs of pests or diseases and taking action to prevent their spread.
- Maintenance of Gardens: The Gardener will maintain the beauty and appeal of the gardens by performing tasks such as mulching, edging, and weeding. They will also prune and trim trees and bushes to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth.
- Pest Control: The Gardener will deal with pest problems that could damage plants, using organic or chemical methods as needed.
- Debris Removal: The Gardener will keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter, ensuring that the areas remain safe and attractive.
- Horticultural Experience: While experience as a Gardener is an advantage, it is not essential. What is important is a genuine passion for horticulture and a willingness to learn.
- Physical Fitness: The Gardener must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
- Caring and Patient Manner: A caring and patient approach is required when dealing with guests and colleagues alike.
- Self-Motivation and Initiative: Self-motivation and initiative are key to success in this role, as the Gardener will be expected to take ownership of their work and strive for excellence.
