**Project Lead: Gas & Utilities Engineering Expertise Required**

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team on projects in the gas and utilities sectors. This role involves working on a wide variety of design projects in the gas transmission and distribution areas, as well as contributing to gas energy project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the gas, oil, or similar process industries and possess a strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Experience working within the gas and/or energy industry in Ireland is an advantage but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Directing engineers and technicians in producing design reports and construction packs
  • Contributing to gas energy project delivery, including surveys of existing gas infrastructure and developing design solutions
  • Assessing design hazards per Health & Safety regulations
  • Producing/reviewing design calculations, drawings, and cost estimates
  • Providing technical advice to clients
  • Exploring innovation and sustainability in design
  • Progress reporting and client presentations

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 3-10 years of post-graduate experience in energy or gas sectors
  • Experience in designing energy/utilities infrastructure; gas infrastructure experience in Ireland or elsewhere is a plus
  • Knowledge of ATEX Regulations and design (IGEM/SR/25 experience is an advantage)
  • Valid driving license
  • Qualifications: Level 8 degree in Engineering and Chartered Engineer status or equivalent
