Job Description

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our PHP team based in EMEA for a fully remote position. As a key member of a three-person team, you will help streamline and increase the adoption of MongoDB in the PHP community. Your primary responsibility will be to support our Developer Relations, Documentation, and Education teams in creating high-quality content for Laravel developers.

Your Role

  1. Seek out speaking and writing opportunities to engage with the Laravel Community
  2. Create libraries to allow developers to build and ship applications faster
  3. Advocate for testing and agile, iterative software development
  4. Possess a passion for Open Source and giving back to the community
  5. Enjoy working in a small, distributed team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with the Laravel framework
  • Significant experience working with PHP
  • Experience with databases, relational or non-relational
  • Experience with testing and static analysis
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
