Our hospice is seeking a registered general nurse with 12–18 months post-graduate experience to join our in-patient unit team.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated nurse who can provide efficient, high-quality palliative and nursing care. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and be part of a respected organisation that values quality of care, compassion, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient, high-quality palliative and nursing care
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership and support continuous education
  • Participate in teaching programmes for nursing and care staff
  • Uphold professional and ethical standards in line with hospice values
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered General Nurse qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • 12–18 months post-graduate experience
  • Experience in palliative care or oncology (desirable but not essential)
  • Postgraduate Diploma or Master's in Health Sciences (Palliative Care) is desirable – or willingness to pursue it
