Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced full-time Legal Secretary to support our growing Cork-based Banking team. Our client is a leading law firm that values diversity, inclusion, and equality.
Responsibilities will include providing general secretarial support, including document management, preparation of legal documents, and drafting various security items from banking precedent databases. You will also be responsible for diary management, filing, photocopying, scanning, answering the phone, making appointments, and liaising with clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in Banking and Property, and excellent attention to detail. Strong IT and systems capability, as well as strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document management: Preparation of legal documents, formatting legal documents, red-lining and version control.
- Drafting various security items from banking precedent databases.
- Saving and storing documents electronically on the firm's practice management system.
- Filing, photocopying, scanning, answering the phone, making appointments, and liaising with clients.
- Diary management for both the Solicitor and files.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in Banking and Property.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT and systems capability.
- Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple activities at one time.
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage time efficiently.
