At ESB, we're committed to delivering a new energy future. As a Technical Training Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping the careers of our Network Technicians and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will deliver high-quality electrical training to our teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  2. You'll support the development of a world-class training centre, driving safety and quality standards throughout our business.
  3. You'll conduct training needs analysis, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practice solutions.
  4. You'll design and deliver training programs that meet our rigorous quality standards, within agreed timeframes.
  5. You'll assist in the creation of work procedures and methods, ensuring our operations are efficient and effective.
  6. You'll gather feedback from our teams and use it to improve and modify our training courses.
  7. You'll perform administrative tasks necessary for running a modern training business.
  8. You'll contribute to our commitment to achieving high levels of safety standards across our organization.
Requirements
  1. You'll need at least 3 years of relevant work experience, with a strong understanding of technical competence.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  3. You'll require a full clean EU driving licence, as travel is an integral part of this position.
  4. A Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or a suitable Level 7 or higher qualification in Electrical, Electrical Services, Electronics, Mechanical or other relevant field is required.
  5. Experience in training delivery and power network operations is highly desirable.
  6. A Train the Trainer Qualification would be an asset.
  7. You'll need to demonstrate knowledge of our Networks Business and ESB's Corporate IT systems.
