At Gheel Autism Services, we are seeking a skilled Social Care Worker/Autism Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and engagement skills, with at least one year of recent experience in a similar role.
This exciting opportunity is for a residential service in Fairview, where we support individuals to live in their own homes. Our team promotes independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being, ensuring each person achieves meaningful outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting residents in ascertaining how they want and choose to live their lives. They will proactively promote the enablement, establishment, enhancement, maintenance, and/or defence of valued social roles in line with individual preferences.
A key aspect of this role is prioritising the biological, social, and psychological well-being of every individual receiving support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Essential qualifications include a Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Studies or equivalent. A full, clean driving licence and eligibility for CORU Registration are also required.
