About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Corporate Risk team as Head of Corporate Risk and Resilience, Insight Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining both the Corporate Risk Framework and Operational Resiliency Framework for Insight Europe.

As a local risk and resiliency SME, you will provide expertise on operational risk and resilience matters, ensuring that Insight Europe meets its regulatory expectations. You will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Global Head of Corporate Risk & Resiliency to drive business resilience and mitigate potential risks.

Main Responsibilities

  • To align and oversee Insight Europe's adherence to the Insight global Corporate Risk Framework
  • To play a pivotal role in supporting the Insight Europe CRO in the capital and liquidity adequacy assessment processes
  • To ensure timely setting and monitoring of actions required to reduce the risk profile or improve the control environment
  • To support the delivery of a holistic approach to ensuring the resilience of Insight Europe's business, including documenting key processes, identifying dependencies, and stress testing those dependencies

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience (5+ years) within an operational risk and/or business resiliency role within an asset manager or equivalent
  • A good knowledge of the regulatory context for operational risk and business resiliency
  • Extremely proficient working with Microsoft Office products
  • An interest in and a good understanding of financial markets, financial products, financial instruments, and fund structures
  • Good problem-solving and analytic skills, comfortable hosting/facilitating risk and resiliency-based workshops
  • A strong ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues in different locations, teams, and relative seniorities
