Albumin Plant Director

Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished manufacturing leader to spearhead the establishment, validation and commercialization of our new albumin purification and aseptic filling plant. The successful candidate will oversee direct leadership over manufacturing operations, focusing on developing and enhancing the commercial requirements to meet supply chain demands and global business and customer needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive start-up strategy for the albumin plant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with employees, management and senior leadership about site performance, plans and initiatives.
- Lead the strategic direction of the Manufacturing Operations group.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, trends and advancements.
- Develop staff through training and motivation, promoting the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biologics operations including supply chain management and qualification and operation of new manufacturing facilities.
- Expertise in material and process flow knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of cGMPs, EU HPRA/US FDA regulations and industry guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to motivate, guide, train, coach and develop subordinates.
