Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Linux & HW Engineer to join our team at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL). This role involves maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services.

About the Role

This position requires strong technical skills in Linux/Unix administration, network protocols, and hardware installation. The ideal candidate will have experience with console routers, IPMI, BMC, and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. Additionally, knowledge of AWS products, data center operations, and inventory management is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently
- Troubleshooting technical issues on various platforms ranging from systems through networking to power/mechanical
- Participating in data center power & cooling events
- Meeting 24x7 On-Call requirements and response during shift rotations
- Installing & configuring racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs
