About the Role
IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking an experienced BIM / CAD Lead Designer to lead our design team in delivering high-quality projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of 2D and 3D designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in our designs.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers and designers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processes and deliverables.
- Work closely with project managers to understand client requirements and preferences, and tailor our designs accordingly.
- Review and approve designs before they are presented to clients, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
- Maintain accurate records of designs, including revisions and updates.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance our design capabilities.
- Participate in business development activities to help grow our design services portfolio.
