Description:

  • Advise clients on the planning implications of international assignments, providing strategic guidance to ensure compliance and optimal tax outcomes.
  • Liaise with global tax partners to ensure assignees are tax compliant in various host jurisdictions, facilitating seamless cross-border transactions.
  • Work with management in preparing detailed technical advice in relation to various tax issues including legislation and case law research, delivering high-quality solutions to complex problems.
  • Advising companies in relation to their withholding obligations in respect to cross-border employees, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with tax regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver training presentations to various departments within the firm covering various areas of taxation, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance expertise.
  • Provision of regular technical training sessions to tax trainees covering various areas of expatriate tax, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Managing and building strong client relationships in both compliance and consulting projects, driving business growth through exceptional service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including report writing and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • A strong employment tax technical knowledge will be essential in addition to knowledge of other taxes, supporting informed decision-making and expert advice provision.
